I used to have a physical notebook for scheduling before using the Google calendar. However, after years of using the online calendar, I have found that the paper journal gives me more space to be more creative. With using different media, such as stamps, pen and ink and coloured pencils..etc, a paper journal provides different forms of recording daily lives. I am so excited to receive the package. The journal jacket is My Manga and I by a Japanese artist Taiyo Matsumoto. Inside I picked a day-free journal booklet. It is a combination of a monthly calendar and a blank notebook.
Inside the package, there are 2 gifts - A Small Hobonichi Hyakunin-isshu and a 3-Color Jetstream Ballpoint Pen.
Holiday set up
I use the red coloured pencil to shade the holidays for the monthly views and put red circles on the holidays on the year view.
