Electric Railway Generating Plant in Bond Lake

We entered the Bond Lake hiking trail from the entrance on Yonge Street. We planned to walk along a loop for about 2.7km. However, part of the loop was closed and we ended up walking for about 4km in total.
Not far from the entrance, you will find this abandoned house. This is Electric Railway Generating Plant.
The Toronto & York Radial Railway reached Aurora and Newmarket by 1899 and they built a power generating station at Bond Lake. The railway was abandoned in 1930 but soon resurrected until October 1948 when it was finally closed for good.
The sketch was done in my pocket-size Moleskine notebook.
